Communist China, key word here is "COMMUNIST", is taking advantage of us in so many ways and our current leaders are letting it continue.
I recommend that we charge a substantial inspection fee on ALL items imported from Communist China. This fee needs to be enough to cover all costs associated with the inspection and testing process.
Basically we would have highly paid American workers, in Inspection Centers built by highly paid American workers, inspecting cheap Communist products paid for by those who do the importing.
Yes, this may raise the cost of Chinese imports, but it will make them accountable and it will make American goods more appealing.
Also, we need to rewrite the trade agreements to exchange American products directly for imported products instead of dollars for imported products. For example if $1,000,000 of toys, electronics, oil, etc. gets imported they get $1,000,000 worth of Dodge, Ford, Chevy cars or pickups, farm equipment produced by John Deere, Caterpillar, Case, etc., grain, or other similar American made products instead of American dollars.
We the People can solve this problem by simply buying American, if we can find them. Ask your retailers to put more American items on their shelves.
