Wisconsin is in serious trouble. There appears to be a culture of corruption and incompetence eating its way through all levels of our government. Leaders have been replaced by career politicians. "We the People" and the "majority rules" have been replaced with special interest groups, lobbyists, and campaign contributions. Fiscal responsibility has been replaced with runaway pork barrel spending and last minute legislative amendments. Also, the complexity of legislation has made it virtually impossible to hold our legislators accountable for their votes.
We can't solve our problems
unless we fix the way our Government does business; therefore, it is my intention to create a “CLEAN BILL ACT”. The purpose of
this bill would be to make each piece of legislation stand by itself.
The “CLEAN BILL ACT” will prevent earmarks and runaway pet
projects.
I will only suppport legislation
that stands on its own merits.
Moreover, with sound principles of leadership, management, organization,
and supervision, my goal is to expedite a balanced budget, reduce the public
debt, lift the long
standing burdens of excessive taxes on Wisconsin taxpayers, and greatly limit
the size of government.
