BILL INGRAM DROPS OUT OF GOVERNOR’S RACE TO RUN FOR ASSEMBLY

Bill Ingram has announced that he is dropping out of the Governor’s race to run for the 91st Assembly seat.  The 91st includes Buffalo, Trempealeau, and parts of Pepin, Pierce, and Jackson Counties.  Ingram brings a wide variety of experiences and a strong emphasis on leadership, management, and accountability to the race.

While serving in the US Air Force, Ingram was trained as an Office of Special Investigation (OSI) Special Agent.  Ingram has also served Wisconsin as a search and rescue pilot, a police sergeant (retired), a firefighter, an EMS first responder, and a Director of Emergency Management.  Ingram was raised as a Wisconsin dairy farmer.  He has also worked as a vice-president of a computer software company and an over-the-road truck driver.

Born, raised, and educated in Wisconsin, Ingram knows first hand the problems and frustrations facing Wisconsin families and businesses.  Committed to Wisconsin families, he will work to make health care affordable and to restore and improve programs to help veterans, the elderly, and the disabled.

Ingram has talked to working people all across Wisconsin and America.  Together they have developed a comprehensive plan to solve the economic crisis, by reducing taxes and clearing the way for Wisconsin businesses to once again become profitable and provide good paying jobs.

As a graduate of Durand High School and the University of Wisconsin, Ingram knows the excellence and commitment of Wisconsin teachers and their frustrations in today’s classroom.

As a former OSI Special Agent and police supervisor, Ingram knows the importance of an individual’s Second Amendment Rights and holding those responsible for the recent economic crisis, accountable for their actions.

Ingram intends to put in place the “CLEAN BILL ACT”.  This act will require each piece of legislation to stand by itself.  No longer will we see legislation with funding for our troops, something on abortion, a health care program for illegal immigrants, and several pork barrel projects all in one bill.  These will each be separate pieces of legislation all voted on separately.  This way we can very clearing see how our elected officials vote and we can hold them accountable for their votes.

Bill Ingram has already been traveling around the state promoting the “CLEAN BILL ACT”.  His intent is to get this enacted before the election.  Ingram believes that if the current legislator can’t or won’t put this in place before the election, we can’t count on them to do it after the election.  He calls this “an integrity check”.  He says we need to fix the way our government does business or we will get people elected that can.

Bill Ingram has met Scott Walker.  He believes Scott would make an excellent Wisconsin Governor and pledges to work hard for all Republican candidates.
